About Preemptivestrike
The Preemptivestrike.org project is a tool that I had percolating in my mind for two decades, but only recently had the time to develop. What you see is only a small portion of the databases; but as time passes it is likely that I will add to this project if the community of users are encouraging. I have made it available simply because I like that you like it, and I hope that other enthusiasts contribute to it in a positive spirit to help make this an even better, fun resource.
To be clear, this is not simply an open-source data aggregation site. The information presented here has all been reviewed and assessed, albeit to varying degrees.
The emphasis has been on facilities. To a lesser degree, I have included data about units, even though I do have a large database developed over the years. The reason is simply the rate at which this information can change is challenging to stay abreast of. As much as you and I may enjoy the content, it is very much only something I do in my spare time for fun-fun.
